Fruit Loops, whales and a Valentine!

Orca!

Sealions!

"Valentine" 11 weeks. 3.7 lbs.

It's been a good week!
I went on a whale watching trip with my aunt, uncle, and cousins on Monday. Not only was the trip lots of fun but I got to spend time with family members that I don't get to see much. The whale watching tour boat started from Anacortes, Washington, (just a few miles northwest from where I live), and took us up through the beautiful San Juan islands. Hard to believe I've lived in the Northwest all my life and I've never been through the San Juans. The views are spectacular and there is so much wildlife to experience. Not only whales but other sea animals like sealions, seals, porpoise, and bald eagles as well as deer, and other birds were spotted on shore. We were lucky enough to get pretty close, or as close as the laws allow, to a pod of Orcas and watch them frolic and feed for much of the day. I took photos but mine of course didn't turn out so well. I've saved some of my cousins photos though. They were much more experienced at capturing those elusive shots than I.
I also managed to get some beads and jewelry made this week while trying to keep up with an 11 week old puppy. And, I spent one sunny afternoon taking some new photos of her for posterity, (she is growing so fast!).
