No, I haven't stopped making beads.....
......the kiln is full as a matter of fact.
My camera battery died just as I started taking photos of my newest sculpted paper flowers. I chose the colors to go with our soon to be freshly painted women's restroom at the bar. Two walls will be Cabernet 2116-30 by Benjamin Moore. A beautiful deep violet. I know what you are thinking, but no, we don't have really rowdy customers so my box frame of sculpted flowers should be just fine. It's not like I spent a fortune on this piece, (less than $30). I will have to affix it to the wall permanently though, somehow.

3D Flower Sculpture Under Glass
My newest artistic obsession.
These sculpted paper flowers are made out of colorful card stock. I have cut, folded, and manipulated them with various tools to create this 3 dimentional look and them mounted them in a 20 inch square box frame. I really like how it turned out and I'm planning on making more of them.

Decorating for spring......
New bead sets in my Etsy shop.
Rafflesia VI
It's March already. Time for some spring decorating. Just bought the above print from art.com. It's by John Douglas and I love the colors! It will be mounted on a wood panel and on display at the bar, along with some other spring decorations, for a bit before it comes home to my house. I have a couple large shelves above the backbar at Norm's that I decorate for the seasons. It's fun and gives people something to look at. So that's what I'll be doing today. Gotta get some shamrocks in there for St. Paddy's Day too.
